Visiting Football Association of Serbia.

Dobar dan! Here is Atsushi.
It means hello in Serbian.

Japan's playing against Serbia on 7th April at Osaka.

In order to know more about them, we visited Serbian Football Association in Beograd without an appointment as usual.
There are other sports-related associations in the same building.

They didn't conduct any security check to get people in.
The football association is on the second floor.

The entrance looks heavy.
We hesitated to get in.

When we were reluctant to press a buzzer on the wall, a man opened the door to get in.
So, we accompanied him.

We talked a receptionist to let us in by saying, "We're traveling the 32 countries playing in the World Cup and are planning to go back to see the game Japan vs Seribia."

Then, the receptionist explained it to the media officer.
The officer came out of his office and said, "You can take photos of the displayed gallery such as trophies or portraits. Then he went back to the room.

Lots of trophies were displayed next to the reception.

The yellow poster is for the World Cup in South Africa.

The next picture we saw surprised us!
Is the person in the left the young Osim?

I asked the receptionist again if he is or not.
She replied, "No, he isn't. He is bla bla bla."

I couldn't hear clearly.

There was nothing else that we could see there.
So we got back to the hotel.

At the hotel, we checked the internet to find out that it was on today that the Serbian national team squad was announced. That's why the staffs in the association made a blunt reply to us.

Then, we decided to visit the office again on the following day, wearing Samurai Blue jersey!

This was the first time for us to try again visiting association!

At this time, fortunately, we're invited to the press conference room, which is in the annex.
Look! I assume this is the place
where Serbian national team-related news are released.

Then I found a picture that I'm familiar with.
It's from the game of a team consisting
of members selected from various international clubs.
The player shaking hands with Pele is Stojkovic also known as Pixy.

Another line of trophies located in front of the pictures.
Oops, the fourth one from the left is in a wrong angle.

The another officer game us some booklets, which are for the mass medias.
The booklet in the middle is reporting the game
where Serbia got a ticket for the World Cup.

Here is the line up of Serbian national team.

The book is written in Cyrill and English. So it's understandable even for us!
But, the members on this booklet are not supposed to come to Japan, including the head coach of Serbia as it is just a friendly match. Also, it is not an national A match day.

By the way, Serbia is in the group D that has many strong teams; Germany, Australia, and Ghana. We've visited all of these countries and, therefore, have special feelings for them.

So, I'm looking forward to seeing all the games of those countries!!
