The biggest stadium in the world.

Hola! This is Atushi.

A week ago, while Ken was watching a soccer game at Monterrey, I was in Mexico city to watch a game Club America vs UANL Tigres.

Estadio Azteca, which is 114,465 capacity venue.

One ticket costs 200 peso.

They are the supporters of Club America.

They're on the walls of the stadium. It's so cool!

The level 2 was almost empty.
But when Mexican national team plays, they're all packed.

Did you know that this stadium is the biggest stadium in the world?

Including Estadio Azteca, we've completed visiting the 5 biggest stadium in the world.

No1. Azteca Stadium @Mexico
No2. Maracana Stadium @Brazil
No3. Camp Nou @Spain
No4. San Siro @Italy
No5. Signal Iduna Park @German

Good for us!! Hahaha.

By the way, Azteca Stadium is the place where Maradona scored the two goals.

One of them was an unpenalized handball known as the "Hand of God", while the second goal was a spectacular 60-meter weave through 5 defenders, commonly referred to as "The Goal of the Century".

At the time of this movie, I just started playing soccer. My older brother recorded every single game of the World Cup and showed them to me.

At that time, I didn't expect to visit here and to watch it with my own eyes.

24 years has passed since then.
I'm grown up and become old.

The guy in the yellow is Hide, who is a supporter of Omiya Ardijya (a Japanese professional soccer team). The woman is Seiko who I met at Mexico 4 years ago. The guy in the black is Seiko's husband. They have their baby.

We seated at the main side. So it was safety enough to bring a baby.

The game was draw. Possibly, it was the cause of the Club America's lacking in the super star Cabanas, who was shot in his head.

We tried to go up to the 2 level seats. But the entrance was separated from the 1st flore where we were at.

One of my Mexican friends gave me a picture which was taken from the 2nd flore.

The scene from the 2nd flore must be the most spectacular.

The picture was taken at the game Mexico vs Erusarubadoru, which is North and South America Caribbean qualifier. Mexico beat them 4-1 and qualified for the World Cup at the game.

I assume the atmosphere of the moment amped up by 100,000 crowd cheering was just overwhelming!

In the World Cup, I'm looking forward to seeing Mexican national team, which is popular enough to bring more than 115,000 supporters to the stadium.
